Flood Aid is back with its second evening of entertainment.

Flood Aid 2 is the brainchild of local TV celebrity Piers, who via his links will yet again be looking to host a Charity evening, at a venue as yet to be confirmed (watch this space) at the end of March, to raise money for the Community Foundation for Calderdale’s Flood relief fund.
Its official date is now confirmed and will be Sunday the 29th of March

Last event in 2016

At the first Flood Aid Christa Ackroyd hosted an evening with the likes of Cannon and Ball, Stu Francis, Jonny Casson, Lee Roberts, Emmerdale Cast members Chris and Dom, Jack Carrol, 3 Valleys Community Choir all giving up their time for free .

On that star studded evening we raised close to £60,000 for those worst hit by the boxing day Floods. Our aim this time is to break the £100,000 mark.

Now 5 years on (and even while work is continuing to prevent damage) the area has been ravished yet again by Mother Nature and Storm Ciara.
